Reflection

One purpose of these assignments was to brainstorm our talking points for the respective class (when the class discussed the research article). I appreciated this work because it allowed me to plan my talking points and participate in class discussions more meaningfully. If left to make my own annotations after a lecture, highlighter would be everywhere.

Each dialectical journal reflects my entering a conversation about the theory at hand. These demonstrated my critical thinking toward subjects like a student's right to their own language or the writing process. I presented what points, questions, or takeaways I found useful within the article with these journals.
